SAMPLE TESTING
Test Time:
We start the test procedures on your samples immediately after they arrive. All tests will be finished and the test results will be reported
to you within 24 hours. Please see Sampling
and Submitting pages for your sample
submission.
Job Number:
A job number (J #) which will appear on your invoice is designated to each
sample submission. This J
# is logged into our computer for result processing and reporting purposes
later.
Sample Testing:
The samples are tested against special tests or Crop Screen you ordered for the samples. To select tests for your samples, please see
the list of recommended tests for each crop in Testing
Services at this web site.
Test Results: Test results are recorded
and saved in a database on the computer and reported to you. For details of your
test data maintenance and confidentiality, please see the Data
& Report page at our website.
Quality Control: All samples are tested using
AC Diagnostics's high quality reagents and all tests are performed by experienced
professionals. All test results pass strict inspections before they are
reported to our customers. Any test results that do not pass inspection will be re-tested until satisfactory results are obtained.
Testing Technology:
DAS ELISA (double-antibody
sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay)
·
Capture antibody is coated on test well of ELISA plate.
· Your
sample is added into the well and specifically bound to the capture antibody
coated in the well.
· Detecting
antibody conjugated with an enzyme is used to probe the sample captured in the
test well.
· Substrate
is added into well and reacts with the antibody-enzyme conjugate probed with the
sample for developing color reaction.
· Positive
and negative controls are included in each test for make sure the test is works
right.
· Color
development in test well indicates positive reaction and clear color indicates
negative reaction. All test wells will be recorded as optical density
value and reported to you.
TAS ELISA (triple-antibody
sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay)
·
Capture antibody is coated on test well of ELISA plate.
· Your
sample is added into the well and specifically bound to the capture antibody
coated in the well.
· Detecting
antibody is added into the well to specifically probe the sample captured in the
test well.
· An
anti-antibody conjugated with an enzyme is used to react with detecting antibody
bound to the sample in the well.
· Substrate
is added into well and reacts with the antibody-enzyme conjugate probed with the
sample for developing color reaction.
· Positive
and negative controls are included in each test for make sure the test is works
right.
· Color
development in test well indicates positive reaction and clear color indicates
negative reaction. All test wells will be recorded as optical density
value and reported to you.
Indirect ELISA (indirect
enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay)
· Your
sample is added into the well and coated on test well of ELISA plate
first.
· Detecting
antibody is added into the well to specifically probe the sample captured in the
test well.
· An
anti-antibody conjugated with an enzyme is used to react with detecting antibody
bound to the coated sample.
· Substrate
is added into well and reacts with the antibody-enzyme conjugate probed with the
sample for developing color reaction.
· Positive
and negative controls are included in each test for make sure the test is works
right.
· Color
development in test well indicates positive reaction and clear color indicates
negative reaction. All test wells will be recorded as optical density
value and reported to you.
